Frequently Asked Questions

BEFORE THE WEDDING

Q: How can I arrange your services for my wedding?

A: Please initiate contact via our 'Contact Us' page to ascertain our availability. Upon confirmation of availability, we will provide you with a booking form to complete. To secure your wedding date, we require a deposit along with a signed agreement.

Q: Can you hold my wedding date?

A: Regrettably, we are unable to hold tentative bookings. To maintain equity among all our clients, we necessitate a paid deposit and a signed agreement to secure your date. Our bookings operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q: What is the deposit amount and when is final payment due?

A: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to confirm your booking. Final payment is due two weeks prior to the wedding date. We encourage payments to be made on their designated due date, as payments made beforehand are considered final and non-refundable.

Q: How many weddings do you typically accommodate per year?

A: We limit our annual bookings to ensure the highest level of service and attention for each couple. We typically accommodate 20-30 weddings per year.

Q: Have your photographers received Covid-19 vaccinations?

A: Certainly, our photographers have received triple vaccination doses of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.

Q: Do you charge additional fees for weddings outside the Gold Coast?

A: Our full day package encompasses all travel expenses for weddings in the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Weddings outside of these regions may incur supplementary travel fees.

A: Absolutely, we love to travel and maintain international passports. Please get in touch to discuss your needs!

Q: If our wedding is rescheduled, can we apply our deposit to a future date?

A: We accommodate rescheduling requests without penalty, provided the new date falls within 12 months of the original date and is subject to availability. However, we cannot indefinitely reserve deposits for unspecified future dates.

Q: Is it possible to arrange a meeting with our photographer before the wedding?

A: Of course! We provide a complimentary virtual planning consultation before your wedding to go over your plans, ideas and vision for your special day.

ON THE DAY

Q: How many photographers will be present at our wedding?

A: Two photographers will be in attendance at 'Full Day' and 'Half Day' wedding package bookings.

Q: What is the starting time for your services on the wedding day?

A: The commencement and conclusion of our services depend upon your event's schedule and the package you select. Typically, our six-hour package starts at the wedding ceremony and concludes with the first dancen, usually spanning from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. Our ten-hour package offers full-day coverage, beginning at bridal preparation and concluding at recpetion, generally spanning from 11:00am to 9:00pm.

Q: I have intervals between events on my wedding day. Will this be included in the total coverage time stipulated?

A: We account for the time between events in our coverage duration due to various tasks we undertake throughout the day. These tasks include backing up images, transitioning to the next venue, travel, capturing venue shots, or compensating for any lost photo opportunities due to unforeseen delays on the wedding day.

Q: How many hours should we allocate for our photo session?

A: Typically, we advise setting aside 60 minutes for bridal party and couple photos, factoring in any necessary travel time if off-site from your venue.

Q: What if our event exceeds the agreed-upon time frame?

A: We understand that weddings may encounter unforeseen deviations from the schedule. We remain flexible and do not conclude our services abruptly at the contracted time. Instead, as the contracted finish time approaches, we will inquire if you wish to extend our coverage. Additional coverage beyond the contracted time incurs an additional charge of $350 per hour or part thereof .

AFTER THE WEDDING

Q: What is the turnaround time for receiving my wedding photos?

A: During peak wedding seasons, it may take up to eight weeks to receive your final set of images.

Q: Are all the images in our final set retouched?

A: Yes, each delivered image undergoes our comprehensive post-production process, which includes colour correction, exposure adjustments, selective black and white processing, clarity enhancements, tone-mapping, and other necessary corrections to align with our distinctive post-production style.

Q: How will we receive our images?

A: Your images will be accessible through a private online gallery within eight weeks of your wedding day. From this gallery, you can download all fully edited images in both high resolution for printing and social media-friendly sizes for online sharing. You have the freedom to share the gallery with your chosen individuals.

A: Generally, you can print your photos up to 20×30" without compromising quality.
